It's tough for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The highest peaks have already been conquered.

This is the unit that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained 1,294 days without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, targeted by the record chasers, are what's still available for a side that has won it all.

It needed as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, frankly, a tribute to the bowlers that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

It is hard for their batters to possess a record if not afforded the chance.

Certain people claim the case for championship match pressure. Some might respond with the difficulty that comes when pursuing an unprecedented total and a raucous India-supporting crowd of 20,000.

"A chance to play and lock in a contest with her and simply enjoy myself that way, somewhat inspired me," stated Healy.

She reached fifty in 35 deliveries - her quickest at a World Cup - and her ton in 84 balls as she punished short deliveries, scoring 21 fours and three sixes.

Once she was dismissed her side needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - an achievable target now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is uncharted waters so I'm happy we have the belief to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, if we do, we are confident we can succeed."

That comment will be the final thing competing nations at this championship should hear.

During the last week a belief they will succeed regardless of circumstances has grown stronger - this victory coming after win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at one point.
